Professional Harpist Dr Lydia Buttigieg regularly performs in orchestral concerts, both in Malta and abroad, and also, as a chamber ensemble and in solo harp concerts.
The harp is an exquisite instrument both to look at and for setting the perfect unforgettable atmosphere for public concerts, whether its solo or as an ensemble. The harp produces a beautiful serene, soothing and intimate quality of sound. With her delicate and agile touch on the harp, Lydia provides the excellent ambiance to suit all occasions, whether it is for an award ceremony, book launch or for a public concert.
With her vast experience in performance, Lydia’s versatility enables her to perform with other instruments or voice, providing professional service as a solo performer or accompanied by her ensemble colleagues. Lydia is the proud owner of two professional harps, the Minerva Grand Concert Gold Harp and the Athena Concert Harp.
