Dr.Lydia is the sweetest person ever! She is very friendly, kind and loving! Also very professional and so sure of what she`s doing all the time! She also went an extra mile to ensure that everything was perfect on the day.. i really appreciated her effort 🙂
Without any doubt her music was the best thing happening at my wedding!! ..I loved every second of it.. So angelic and graceful.. absolutely beautiful!!!

Dr . Lydia Buttigieg has been a colleague of mine in the music profession for a good number of years during which I had various opportunities to listen to her professional harp performances in various occasions. But, the best time that I was able to appreciate her infinite abilities as a harp performer was early this year when she took part in one of my symphonic concerts during which she showed her most refined harp playing in various serious works by different composers. I do hope that she will be the main attraction in my next symphonic concert.

It has been my pleasure and privilege to know Dr Lydia Buttigieg for several years both as a fiend and as a musician. She is a member of both of my orchestras, Maleth Symphonia and the St Paul Chamber Ensemble and is also a member of the Administrative Board. Her commitment is outstanding in any of the capacities I have entrusted her with. Her musicianship is outstanding, both as a performer and as a musicologist and her professional approach to her work makes her a pleasure to work with. A bonus is her bubbly personality and her infectious laugh is a welcome break during strenuous orchestra rehearsals or tense board meetings! Over the years I have come to know her as a person I can count upon in any situation and I certainly look forward to many more years of performances and collaborations

Dr. Lydia Buttigieg is an excellent lecturer. Her style of teaching keeps you listening eagerly and motivated throughout the course. She supplies students with a substantial amount of detailed notes in order to help the individual enrich his/her knowledge of the studied modules. The content is well presented in an intelligent and interesting manner. Being a diploma student studying at Malta school of music, I must say that as a whole, the module is very well delivered. She maintains such quality in her work by keeping it interesting - resulting in a fruitful, learning experience. Everything is well explained! She is enthusiastic and teaches with passion. Dr. Buttigieg is by far the best lecturer I have ever had, possessing the highest level of knowledge on the subject.

Her repertoire was extensive and very versatile and all the guests present during the event welcomed her performance and had words of praise for the programme offered.

Dr. Lydia Buttiġieġ is a leading harpist in Malta. We had the privilege to invite her to be part of a sacred concert inside Mdina Metropolitan Cathedral. Dr Lydia Buttigieg is a very talented and dedicated musician playing not only the harp as a professional but also the piano and organ. She performs as a soloist, and also accompanies singers during several functions namely weddings, funerals, mass celebrations and concerts. Apart from having her own harp trio, Dr Lydia Buttigieg is also the principle harpist of the St Paul Chamber Ensemble. Nonetheless, I must say that Lydia is also a good friend who is 100% reliable and honest.

Lydia performed at our wedding at Ta Giezu church Valetta and then at our reception at Hotel Phoenicia. She was excellent and we had so many lovely comments about her. We are so glad we chose her and so grateful for all her efforts. She was also extremely accommodating with all our needs and we really appreciate that she transported her harps to two venues.
